What Is a Consulting Bootcamp?
This Management Consulted event lasts six hours, during which you will get individualized attention from Jenny Rae (our Managing Director and ex-Bain consultant). Held at the New York Marriott Marquis on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., this open bootcamp will cover it all:
10-11 a.m. — The ultimate networking tool: the elevator pitch
11 a.m.-noon — Fit interview: key consulting questions and hero stories
Noon-1 p.m. — Networking lunch with Q&A
1-2 p.m. — Full case walkthrough
2-3 p.m. — Case frameworks to help you become an expert at case-opening
3-4 p.m. — Case math and creativity walkthrough
The open bootcamp places you in an immersive environment where you will go deep in your prep - refining your stories and uncovering 2nd level insights inside a case. You'll move beyond what you may have read in a book to get to the crux of your prep - out-loud practice. Best of all, there will be plenty of time to ask Jenny Rae all of your questions.
How Do I Get Ready?
Dress business casual and bring a pen and paper - this will be a technology free day so we can simulate the interview environment as much as possible! Be sure to bring a copy of your resume so you can make changes at the event.
Most of all, come ready to learn, network, and get a crash course in consulting interviews.
