Chase Sapphire Preferred Benefits- YouTube Transcription

Hey, I'm Jenny Rae from Management Consulted and I'm here with Namaan, our Director of Operations. Namaan has a credit card that many of you are interested in, or have. It's a popular credit card for consultants, and I don't have the card. So, I brought it in today so that we could hear a little bit about why he chose the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, and to hear about the Chase Sapphire Preferred benefits. Namaan, take it away.

Background

[Namaan] Absolutely. So let me just give a little bit of background first. So I've had the Chase Sapphire Preferred for about three years. And when I first got the card, I got it because there was a fifty thousand point to sign up bonus happening at the time. And I knew that I had a couple of big purchases coming up. So, I would hit the four thousand dollar spend threshold for the bonus points easily within the first three months.

[Jenny Rae] And that would be something super easy for any consultant on a travel budget to do, in probably a week, maybe slightly more than that. Great so that's that's good, but also an easy tick box.

[Namaan] Exactly, easy tick box, fifty thousand bonus points in the bank.

Chase Sapphire Preferred Card Benefits

[Namaan] On top of that what do you get? Well number one, the points that you Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card, best rewards credit card, business travel credit card, chase sapphire preferred benefitsaccrue with a Chase Sapphire Preferred, transfer on a one to one basis. Meaning one point equals one mile to multiple different different travel partners. So you've got United, Southwest, multiple Hotel partners, where these points can transfer to. So you're not limited to one airline that you have to fly So for me, that's why I liked the Chase Sapphire Preferred over an airline co branded car.

[Jenny Rae] You don't have a favorite airline line? That's so not consulting!

[Namaan] The best deal is my favorite airline. So on top of that, I love how the Chase Sapphire Preferred gives you bonus spend category. So for example, on the preferred you get two times the points on travel and dining. Thank you chase. The travel definition is quite good. So not just airlines and trains, but Ubers, Metro – anything that is travel related gives me twice the points. And then dining out also gives me twice the points. With the bonus and with the liberal definition of travel, I'm racking up the points.

Benefits In Real Life

[Jenny Rae] So the thing that is making me giggle inside is that you came up with three total reasons, which is a very consulting approach to how to pick a credit card. What are you gonna do with all this points Namaan?

[Namaan] So this spring I'm going to New Zealand business class. Thank you very much Chase Sapphire Preferred.
