LTI History

In 1996, LTIMindtree was founded as a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro under the name L&T Information Technology Ltd. Its name changed several times before becoming LTIMindtree in May 2022 when it merged with Mindtree, another branch of Larsen and Toubro. Through the merger the firm became the fifth largest IT company by market cap. It has continued to grow and be recognized as a great place to work as well as effective in its work; in 2018 President Sudhir Chaturvedi was recognized as one of the 100 most influential leaders in the UK.
