LTI History

In 1996, LTIMindtree was founded as a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro under the name L&T Information Technology Ltd. Its name changed several times before becoming LTIMindtree in May 2022 when it merged with Mindtree, another branch of Larsen and Toubro. Through the merger the firm became the fifth largest IT company by market cap.
